Lions Camp Horizon has both seasonal and year-round needs for certain items. To the extent that we obtain them through donations, it reduces our costs thereby allowing us to keep our camping fees as low as possible as well as to provide more campership funding for those campers who cannot afford to pay the full fee amount.

During our 5 camping sessions in 2012, we will feed roughly 100 campers, staff and volunteers 3 meals per day. As you can imagine, that creates a large grocery bill. Because we operate a seasonal camp and also maintain the facilities and park on a year-round basis, we have diverse needs for other items. Some of those items will be noted on our "Wish List" accessible from this webpage. Note that we can ONLY accept the donation of "in-kind" items that have been pre-approved by our Executive Director. We do not want to be in the position of having to try to resell donated items we do not need or to have to dispose of them at a cost to our Foundation (and ultimately to our campers).
